Tails

Tails is an operating system you boot from a USB stick. It runs entirely in memory, pushes every connection through Tor, and wipes itself when you power off. If you want to leave nothing on the computer, this is the strongest option you can run on normal hardware.

Why it helps

It writes nothing to the machine disk, so there is nothing to recover afterward.
Apps cannot leak around Tor by accident, because the whole system is locked to it.
A dedicated stick keeps your market activity off the machine you use for everything else.

Getting there

Install Tails to a USB stick from its official site and check the download.
Boot it and connect to Tor when it asks.
Open Tor Browser inside Tails and paste a link from the working links.
If you want to keep a PGP key or a password file between sessions, turn on the encrypted Persistent Storage and give it a strong passphrase.

Do not skip this

Keep your recovery words on paper, not only inside Tails. A stick that dies or gets lost should never mean a lost account.
