Where do I find a working BlackOps link?

On the working links page here. Every link listed reaches the same market. Copy one, open it in Tor Browser, and check it against the login screen before you sign in.

How do I know a link is real?

Run two checks. The link should be on the PGP signed list, and the login page should show an address that matches your browser bar. A fake cannot do both, because it lacks the market key and is not served from the real address.

A link will not open, is the market down?

Usually it is Tor, not the market. Get a new circuit, try another link, and check whether normal Tor browsing is slow too. Only if every link fails for several minutes while the rest of Tor works is it likely a real outage.

How many links are there?

A short list, on purpose. We keep only the current, checked addresses up. They all reach the same market, so there is no benefit to a longer list you cannot trust.

Which coin does it use?

Monero by default, for the privacy. Route it through your own wallet rather than straight from an exchange.

Does it ask for my recovery words to log in?

No. A real login never asks for them. The recovery words get an account back if you lose the password. A page that asks for them at login is a fake.

Can I open a link on my phone?

You can, with Tor Browser for Android at the Safest setting, but it is weaker than a computer or a Tails stick. Fine for reading, not ideal for a real order.

A link I had stopped working, what happened?

Addresses get retired over time. Grab a current one from the working links page and check it. If an old address still loads and asks for your login, be extra careful, because that can be a fake using a name people used to trust.
